As 2018 comes to an end and the weather gets warmer and warmer, I came up with this easy and super refreshing Mango Sorbet. It’s super easy and tasty and if you’re planning family dinners, this is the perfect dessert!
Ingredients
- 3 Cups chopped fresh Mangoes
- 1/4 Cup powdered sugar (optional)
- 2 Tablepoons Lemon Juice
Preparation
- Freeze your chopped fresh mangoes for 1 hour
- Using a blender, blend your mangoes for around 10 minutes
- Add the sugar and blend again for a minute. Sugar gives a smoother texture to your ice cream
- Add the lemon juice and blend for 1 minute
- Transfer in a (plastic)container and put in your freezer for 2 hours
- After 2 hours, take it out of the freezer and blend for 3 to 4 minutes. You can either put it in a blender or use an electric whip for this.
- Place back in the container and freeze minimum 6 hours but the best is overnight.
- To serve your ice cream, place your ice cream scooper in hot water before making the balls. It gives you a nearly perfect scoop. Dip in hot watr between each scoop you make.
